An Ad-Hoc network is essentially a makeshift wireless network where wireless devices connect to each other directly rather than through a Wireless Access Point (WAP)
Dolphin Promotions does not recommend an Ad-Hoc network for your wireless solution but it can be useful for one off connections to networks or the Internet. We also highly recommend that you know and trust the user you connect to as any data transmitted can be captured by the other party.
