A Blog, or weblog is a website, or part of a website that provides commentary on a particular subject area. Blogs can be on any subject matter possible and are frequently used as online diaries, news site or websites expressing political views.

Blogs have become hugely popular and the blog search engine Technorati tracks more than 71 million blogs.

Blogs are a great way to inform visitors of the latest news or information about your website or subject matters that affects your industry area.

Blogs can also provide excellent unique content on your site which provides an excellent SEO boost.

Unfortunately with the success of blogs BlackHat SEOs have started to create Splogs, these are spam blogs. As with most spam websites they generate content automatically and generate income for the BlackHat through advertising tools such as Adsense.

If you do not use our management system and would like a blog then we can either install blogging software such as Wordpress onto a subdirectory of your site (if hosted on Apache) or a sub domain of your website such as blog.dolphinpromotions.co.uk. Sub domains can be hosted on a different server to the main domain and therefore we can install most types of blogging software that you may request.
